I love having the freedom to create. Anyone who knows me will surely attest to the fact that I am naturally original, eccentric, and unique. Now that I have completed my M.A. in Professional Communication, I find myself ready to transition, conquering new challenges in the workplace.
WORK EXPERIENCE
For the past eight years, I have been employed at Summit City Radio. At the company, I “wear many hats.” I am an on air personality. I serve as Producer and Morning Show Cohost for Wild 96.3. I am also Assistant Program Director for the station, managing fellow on air personalities. I create all produced imaging for the radio station, as the Audio Imaging Director. Additionally, I serve as website content creator for all Summit City Radio websites. This currently includes WXKE Rock104, WNHT Wild 96.3, and WGL-AM 1250. If the company needs logos, banners, posters, brochures or video, I am the “go-to” employee.
EDUCATION
I have earned both undergraduate and graduate level degrees from Indiana University- Purdue University Fort Wayne. Specifically, I have a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Public Communication. I am also currently finishing a Master of Arts in Professional Communication Studies. This coursework has helped me to improve my interpersonal skills, writing, and overall aptitude. For design, I have taken coursework which has specialized in audio production, visual design, and video production.
SKILLS
I currently design both visually and auditorly on a daily basis. I would be lost without my Adobe Creative Suites. I am especially proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Audition. I have also worked with Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Flash, Pro Tools, Drupal, InDesign, and Final Cut Pro.
